IRWIN, Marie Lilian June 29, 1929 - April 14, 2008 With great sadness, the Irwin family announces the passing of their beloved Marie, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and treasured friend. Marie's strong faith guided her throughout her life and allowed her to pass into the presence of God with no regrets. Marie is survived by her husband Don of fifty-seven years; her children, Donald (Donna), Donna, Sandra, Sandy (Wendy), Shauna (Jim), and Deanna (Steve); grandchildren, Don, Cristopher, Devon, Scott, Alexandra, Dallas, Robin, Megan, Donelle, Levi, Liam, Cameron, Dylan, Geneva, JR, Stephen, Coltanna, Tyler, Shaundra, Shyla, MacGregor, Delaney, and Mhairi; and great-grandchildren, Tayla, Evan, Brody, and Issac. Marie is also survived by her brother John Ramsay (Joan); her cousin Polly Edwards (Basil); and her extended family, including Joyce Traub, Dee O'Neil, Bonnie Irwin; and many nieces and nephews. The many people whose lives and hearts have been touched by Marie are too numerous to acknowledge individually. Her family prays that each of these individuals knows how special they were to Marie and that she loved them very much. Funeral Services will be held at Southwood United Church (10690 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
