Lanita passed away peacefully on June 18, 2012 at 3:20 a.m. at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home.

Lanita loved many, and was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know her. Lanita will be deeply missed by her husband Eldon and children, Caden, Damon and Makaela, she also leaves behind her parents, Allan & Laurel Loyek who faithfully stood by her during her illness. Lanita battled with stomach cancer for 6 months from her diagnosis. She spent the first month at home and last five months in the Kamloops Hospice. Lanita was cared for by numerous family members, as well as countless friends and volunteers. She was never alone during her illness.

Lanita lived a Godly life and left us richer in every way that matters. Lanita will live on in our hearts for ever and Heaven is richer today.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in the Valleyview Arena, 353 Highland Rd, Kamloops, B.C. Everyone is welcome to attend.
