Suddenly after a valiant battle with cancer at Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, Ontario on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the age of 38 years. Corey, beloved husband of Cindy (nee Hynes) and cherished daddy of Kristen. Loving son of Ethel and Paul Whelan of Brampton and son-in-law of John and Stella Hynes of Newfoundland. Dear brother of Tara (Scott Barron) of Newfoundland, and their children Jacob and Michael, Shannon (Dom) and Sheldon of Brampton. Corey will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends from across Canada and the United States. Visitation will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, Brampton Chapel on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral will be held on Tuesday at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church (191 Vodden St. E., Brampton) for Mass at 12 noon.
