PURSEY, MARK KEITH - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Mark Pursey, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November of 1970 in Saint John, he was the son of Alice (Wright) Pursey and the late Robert P. Pursey. Mark loved Nascar and he enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and canoeing. He worked for FPC Inc. as well as Canadian Tire for many years and was a member of the Kingston Parish. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his spouse Heather of 5 years; cherished daughter Kirsten and lovable girls Madeleine and Skylar; brothers Robert (Deanna) of Hampton and James (Tina) of Hampton; sisters Pauline Estey (Kevin) of St. Martins and Pamela Burhoe (Ian) of Hampton; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Besides his father, Mark was predeceased by his brother Phillip W. Pursey.
As per request from the family there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home chapel, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Saturday, June 23rd at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
