Flora Frigon
FRIGON, FLORA – 1906 – 2012 - Flora Frigon, 105, wife of the late John Wilfred Frigon (1950) has passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her residence in Bouctouche on Friday, June 22nd, 2012. Born in Bouctouche on November 27th, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Fabien and the late Elise (Léger) LeBlanc. Flora was manager of a convenience store in Saint-Thomas de Kent for 10 yrs, and also worked for the NB Tourism for 5 to 6 yrs. She will be sadly missed by her five children; Patricia Frigon of Bouctouche, Jovette Brun (Edmond) of Templeton, Mass, Gisèle Scott (Neil) of Lawrence Station, John Wilfred (Ruth) of Gardner, Mass, and Guy (Monique) of Rivière Bleu, PQ, her ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister, Hélène LeBlanc of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Edmée, Rita, Justine and three brothers, Blair, René and Alcide.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, June 25th, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Flora’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
