It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Joseph White announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Thursday June 21, 2012 at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: David (Shirley) White, Bernice Nichols, Joseph (Cathy) White, Barbara Simmons, Ben White, Betty Ann (Ron) Redshaw, Rosemary (Art) Vincent, Jenny Torraville, Gerard White; two sisters: Joan and Helen; also a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by daughters Maureen and Pauline, two wives Alita and Mary. A private family visitation has taken place and upon his request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Monday June 25, 2012 at 11 A.M. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
