At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, June 23, 2012, of E. Wallace “Wally” DeRoche, Nine Mile Creek, age 80 years.
Beloved husband of Isabel (nee Taylor). Dear father of Randy, Trent (Susanne) and Kathy Toole (Chester Remley). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Lori Bradley, Michelle Toole (Adam Leger), Holly Barrett (Jon), Ashley, Aleisha, Katie and Zach DeRoche and by great-grandchildren Brandon and Liam Bradley and Lexie and Charley Leger. Brother of Donald DeRoche (Eileen, deceased), Marjorie Allan, Mary Gregory (Lloyd), Valerie MacDonald (Bruce), Leo Doiron (Barb) and Doris Ouellet (Pierre). Brother-in-law of Alyre Doucette, Doris DeRoche, Forbes Taylor (Bertha), Joan Falsetto and Welda MacArthur (Frank Taylor).
Predeceased by his parents John and Evelyn (Wells) DeRoche; by his siblings Marie Gallant (Stephen), Shirley Doucette, John DeRoche, Pat DeRoche, Gloria Wenning (John), and Herman Wells (Betty); and by his brothers-in-law Al Falsetto and Ed MacDougall.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment in Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3-7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or to the Hospice Palliative Care Association of Prince Edward Island.
