Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, June 22, 2012 Abel Hillier age 90 years of Newtown. Predeceased by his parents Jesse and Susan Hillier; brothers Carl and William. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Mildred; son Michael (Annie); daughters Rosalind(Rex) and Myra(Harold); brother Leo(Jean); sisters Martha, Daisy(Harold) and Doris; grandchildren Daryl, Duane, Justin, Jason, Autumn, Joshua, Michael and Shannon; great-grandchildren Ryan, Amy, Tyler, Abby, Graydon, Eva and Brody; great-great-granddaughter Jacey; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at Trinity United Church, Newtown on Monday, June 25, 2012 with Reverend Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Newtown.
