After falling and injuring her back she was then moved into a full care nursing home, first to Lockeport and then to Nakile which she was extremely fond of and the staff there made her stay with them very special. She was a member of the Doctor's Cove United Baptist Church and a Dominion Life member of the Women's Missionary Society. Mom was a talented seamstress and loved to bake and there was rarely a function that she did not have food ready for. Mom lived with challenges for many years of her life but found peace in her surroundings and was very fond of those who cared for her daily. The family would like to thank Dr. Webster and Dr. Chris Murphy, the staff of 4 East of the YRH and to Charlene LeBlanc and staff and to the staff of Nakile for their loving care of Ella. We appreciate each and every one of you! Remains were resting at the West Pubnico Funeral Home and funeral service was held Wed., June 27th at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Phil Williams officiating with burial in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Barrington Passage. There was no visitation by request and family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Doctor's Cove Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice.
