It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin Alvin Hayward announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 at the age of 60 years. He will be sadly missed by his son Timmy; daughter-in-law Sheri and the two joys of his life: Chloe and Megan; sister Evelyn (John) Devison; brother Brian; sister-in-law Christina; nieces and nephews, and his special family Winston and Ann Keeping, and their daughters: Jackie, Vanessa, Shannon and Tracey, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Charles and Annie and brother Graham. He was well known in Port Aux Basques as the usher at the Grandview Cinema and the custodian at Marine Atlantic. He leaves us all with many memories which we will never forget. “Cal, you will be greatly missed.” Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Thursday and Friday. The Funeral Service took place on Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 am from the Salvation Army Church. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
