He also enjoyed music and, before his medical concerns, was part of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church choir. Bill passed away on Sunday, May 4th, 2008, following a stroke one month earlier. Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia, and his two daughters, Susan Wood of Vancouver, and Janine Wood and grandson Ashley of Ucluelet. Bill is also survived by three brothers - John (Margaret), Stanley (Rebecca), and Robert (Rose) - all of Glasgow, Scotland. He was predeceased by brother Ronald (Doris), and four sisters - Eileen, Margaret Black, Ruby Burnside, and Isobel McLeod. Bill is also survived by a close nephew, Rick McLeod of Kelowna.
