MAGNUSSON MAGNUSSON, Mary Gordon (Hutchison) born April 2, 1953 died peacefully at her home in Kamloops, British Columbia on May 4, 2008. Mary is survived by her husband of 25 years, friend and protector, Keith Magnusson. She is also survived by her brother, John of St. Stephen, NB and sister, Helen Hutchison of Fredericton, NB, brothers-in-law Don and Darcy Magnusson of BC. Mary was the daughter of Jack and Alma (Saulnier) Hutchison of Bristol, New Brunswick. After graduating from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, Mary moved to the west coast where she met her husband and began a career in the travel industry. Their adventures took them to many parts of the world, north to Alaska, south to Mexico, throughout Europe, Asia and the Soviet Union. Whether at home or abroad, Mary was well known for her spirit of adventure. Diagnosed late in life with Cystic Fibrosis, Mary showed extraordinary strength of character in how she lived her life. She always demonstrated a zest for life, a love of people, a love of places, fine foods, and a love for her constant companions, the Labrador Retrievers. Mary will be happily remembered for her caring and generosity by an extended family and many friends on both the east and west coasts of Canada and beyond.
