MURIEL EILEEN BEECHER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on May 9, 2008 of Muriel "Tip" Eileen Beecher after a short stay at the Kamloops Hospice House. Tip is survived by her son John (Melanie), her daughter Mary Gowans (Ernie Beadle) and sister Olive Ede. Also left to cherish her memory are her three granddaughters Theresa (Greg) Hafeli, Cheri (Pete) and Michelle (Scott) Beecher and grandson Darren Gowans, her twin granddaughters Holly and Natalie Hafeli and great grandson Ryan Salle; as well as numerous relatives and great friends. Muriel was born in Fort William, Ontario on June 3, 1925. Jack and Muriel were married on August 9, 1946 and moved to Kamloops in 1949 where Jack entered the building supply business with Muriel at his side as the bookkeeper. The family wishes to thank Dr. O'Connell, Dr. Ring, the nurses at RIH Emergency room and the staff at the Hospice House for making her stay so comfortable. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street with The Reverend Louise Peters officiating.
