In Loving Memory of Gunnar Greiersen January 31, 1924 - May 19, 2008 Gunnar was born in Store Heddinge, Denmark and in 1954 immigrated to Ontario with a degree in agriculture. He later moved to BC and worked at Bralorn Mine where he met and married Lillian Lucas. Another move took him to Lytton, BC where he worked at St. Georges Residential School from 1964 to 1977. Gunnar then worked at Lytton Hospital until he retired, at which time he relocated to Logan Lake and eventually spent the rest of his retirement in Kamloops. Gunnar is survived by his partner and loving friend Torunn Enochsen and family of Kamloops, BC; brother Knud Greiersen, two nephews and one niece of Denmark. His wife Lillian predeceased him in 1995. Gunnar loved to play cards, travel and spend time with family and friends. All who knew him will sadly miss him. The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Justin Clark, Personal Alternative Funeral Services. 554-2324
