ROBERT DOUGLAS LYONS

Lieu de naissance : Colombie Britannique, Canada

Lieu de décès : Colombie Britannique, Canada

(ROBERT) DOUGLAS LYONS December 8, 1917 - May 25, 2008 Doug passed away suddenly doing what he loved - fly fishing at Six Mile Lake. He was blessed with good health, played bridge five times a week, and was proud of attaining his bridge bronze life-master and a gold medal at the BC Seniors' Games. Other than a bridge game, nothing could keep him from fly fishing as soon as the ice was off the local lakes. He was born in Sullivan Valley near Kamloops and worked for many years for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Doug's quick wit brought us laughter and his love for life continues to inspire us all. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for all those lucky enough to know him. He will be missed but never forgotten by Norma, sons Barry and Jack, his loving family and many friends. A gathering in his honor will be held at Colombo Lodge (rear entrance), Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. which you are most welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital, Intensive Care Unit.
