Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park, St. John’s on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010, Gladys Angel, age 86 years. Formerly of Oderin, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her parents William and Lillian Abbott, husbands Thomas Bailey and Thomas Angel and brothers Jack, William, Frank (Kay) and Leonard (Rita). Leaving to mourn are the Angel stepchildren: Kevin (Betty), Tom (Dorothy), Jackie (Gordon) and Rosemary (Robert); sisters-in-law: Kay Abbott, Angela Abbott and Mary Hurley and relatives: the Abbott, Bailey and Angel families. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday, January 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 4th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
