Ann Marie Grace Beckett (Grace) in her 75th year after a long courageous battle with cancer on Nov. 4, 2008, died peacefully. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Loucks and Leo Loucks of Grand Bend, Ont., son, Scott Beckett, and granddaughter, Karina Valke of Vancouver B.C., sister, Darlene Thuss and Gerry Thuss of Strathroy Ont., sister, Rev. Freda MacDonald and Rev. Layton MacDonald of Berwick, N.S., brother, Tom Gallant and Delma Gallant of Miscouche, P.E.I., brother, John Gallant and Chris Gallant of Linkletter, P.E.I. She was predeceased by sister, Carmella Gallant (2008), father, Ernest Gallant (1979), and mother, Bella Gallant (1996), all of P.E.I. Grace will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Special thanks goes to all the staff of Parkwood Hospital for their compassionate and devoted care for Grace in her final days. A celebration of Grace's life will be held on Saturday Nov. 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the First Lobo Baptist Church at 22907 Nairn Rd. In lieu of flowers donations to the London Regional Cancer Program or to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation (Parkwood Hospital) would be appreciated.
