HAYWARD, CHRISTINA – The death of Christina Hayward of Saint John, wife of the late Theodore Hayward, occurred unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born in Scotland, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Christina (Bannerman) Grant. Christina is survived by her daughter, Susan Beyea (Lloyd) of Saint John; three sons, Ronald Grant (Margaret) of Fredericton, Dale Hayward (Shirley) of Saint John, and Stephen Hayward (Theresa) of Saint John; four grandchildren; a sister Ethel Cunningham of Ontario; two brothers, Edward Grant and Christopher Grant (Gert) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Christina’s wishes, a private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Private family visiting will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
