The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, of George I. Cameron, of Harvard Street, Summerside, aged 80 years. Born in Wellington Centre, he was the son of the late George and Leona (Cameron) Cameron. Survived by his wife Davina (Mitchell) Cameron; children Shirley Anne Cameron (Scott Harvey) Summerside; Sandra (Robert) McNeill, Summerside; George David (Heather) Cameron, Hantsport, N.S.; Alex (Tracy) Cameron, Cole Harbour, N.S.; grandchildren Tyler (Tammy), Matthew (Leslie) and Daniel Williams; Kathleen, Ian and David McNeill; Reneé (Peter) Durant; Caitlin, Rowan and Ty Cameron; great-grandchildren Chancelor and Iaan Williams; sister-in-law, Una Cameron, Summerside; numerous nieces and nephews and by his special friend "Tucker." Predeceased by a grandson, Ian Williams, and a brother, Everett Cameron. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to the St. Paul's Church, Summerside, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Wellington Centre. A reception will be held at 89 Granville St., Summerside, on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., for family and friends. Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the P. E. I. Humane Society would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
