Passed suddenly, at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday June 28, 2012. Elsie (Hunt) Pye in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Ralph Pye. Dear mother of Lenore Jones (Wayne). Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Abigail and Kaitlyn of Guelph, Ontario. Loved sister of Raymond Hunt (Emma) of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Loved step- sister of Rhoda Brown (Ken) of Peterborough, Ontario and step-sister Marie Frampton (Wish) of New Brunswick. Loved step-sister of Gideon Samms of Torres Cove, Newfoundland. Predeceased by her parents George and Lillian Hunt, her brother George Hunt, step-brother Cyril Samms and step-brother Sandy Samms. Elsie loved to bake and decorate cakes, especially wedding cakes. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends and relatives in Newfoundland and Labrador. Cremation has taken place.
