The death of Peter Wayne Bulmer, 50, of Dorchester, occurred suddenly on Monday, June 25, 2012.
Born May 2, 1962 in Sackville, Peter was a son of Emma (nee Mitton) and the late George Vernon Bulmer.
He was an electrician for 25 years, having spent 20 of them in Calgary and most recently employed by Roadway Systems Ltd, Moncton. Peter loved to golf and was a member of the Sackville Golf and Country Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as his faithful companion, Waylon. Peter was a free spirit, loved all types of music, gardening, always had a project on the go and was always willing to help his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Emma (nee Mitton) Bulmer, of Dorchester; one sister, Charlene (David Methot) Bulmer, of Dorchester; a brother, Kevin (Joan), of Moncton; two nieces, Laura and Alison and one nephew, Luke, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Peter was predeceased by his father, George Vernon Bulmer in 1974.
Arrangements were entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300), from where visitation was held 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012. A funeral service was held at the funeral home on Friday, June 29, at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the Dorchester Rural Cemetery. Rev. Phil Ferris officiating.
Donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxilliary, or a charity of the donor's choice.
