It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Florence Brown announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday January 2, 2010 in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her four sons; William Brown (May), Guy Brown (Joyce), Freeman Brown (Vernetta) and Morris Brown (Patsy), four daughters; Judy, Wanda McKenney (Rod), Karen, and Cindy McKay (John), her grandchildren; Trudy, Trina, Corey, Colleen, Darrell, Andreas, Terrence, Karen, Trina, Colin, Connie, Christopher, Alexander, Matthew, Ceildha, Amanda, Andy, Allie, Katie Marie, Kimberly, Ryan, Corey McKay, 11 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Tuesday January 5, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 5, 2010 at 7 p.m. with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the United Cemetery in Englee, NL. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
