POIRIER, DELIA - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear mother Delia Marie Poirier on July 4th, 2012. Born in Point-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emilienne (Robichaud) Martin. Delia was an avid card and bingo player. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, Archie of Escuminac, Romeo and Leonard Poirier (Sharon) of Miramichi, Claudette Dryden of Petitcodiac, Norma (Benoit) of Point-Sapin, Marjorique (Catherine) of St Louis, Carmel (Jim) of Joggins, NS, Regina Jeannot of Iles de la Madeleine, Clairina (Georges) of Richibucto, Argentine (Peter) of Escuminac and Glenalda (Jacques) of Iles de la Madeleine, step-daughter Laura of Winnipeg, Amanda of Iles de la Madeleine, and step-son Aleph of Ontario, thirty grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren, one sister Alexina Carroll and several nieces and nephews. Delia is predeceased by her husband Emmanuel Poirier, three sisters: Eliza, Neomise and Viola, three brothers; Philorome, Aliby and Maxime, infant son Cyrille, grandson Kevin, daughter-in-law Agnes and son-in-law Gary.
Delia Marie Poirier is resting at the Baie Sainte-Anne Slumberoom in Baie Sainte-Anne on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 9am till time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11am from St Anne Roman Catholic Church in Baie Sainte-Anne. As expressions of sympathy donations to the memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
