BOYD, GORDON WILLIAM - Gordon Boyd of Nerepis passed away on July 4, 2012 at his residence. Born in Fredericton on November 21, 1960, he was a son of George and Doreen (Speagle) Boyd. Gordon worked with Kent Lines, BC Ferries, and the Vancouver School Board, and also operated Boyd’s Handyman Service; he lived life as a free spirit. He is survived by his parents George (Sherin) Boyd and Doreen Boyd, siblings Meta (George) Magee, Linda (Michael) MacKinnon, Christine Boyd, Michael (Norma) Boyd, Sandra (Ronald) Williams, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Buddy.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, there will be no visitation, and a private family service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Red Cross or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
