Mabel May Levsen passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 at Extendicare in Moose Jaw. Mabel, at the age of 86 was predeceased by her beloved husband Levi (1990). Loving mother of Larry (Mary), Shirley (Ed), Beverley (Spence), Ruby (Randy); cherished grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 14. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Ellen (Emil). She is predeceased by her great-grandchildren Joseph and Cheyna; her brothers George, Leslie, Albert, Fred and by her sisters Mary and Alice. Mabel was born to Fred and Alice Widenmaier in Invermay, SK., on August 27th, 1923. She married Levi in 1944 and the couple spent most of their married life in Mortlach, SK. She moved to Moose Jaw in 1991 after Levi passed away. She enjoyed getting together with friends at High Park Towers and playing bingo, but particularly enjoyed the times she travelled to be with her family. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. West. Moose Jaw. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
