Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavillion on Saturday, January 2, 2010, Kenneth Clyde Bard, aged 88 years, a veteran of World War II with the Royal Canadian Navy. Predeceased by wife Olive. Leaving to mourn are: niece Barbara Rose (Kip) of Cambridge, Ontario; brother-in-law Mericks Hicks (Kyla); sister-in-law Mary Tucker; niece Bernice Tucker (David); nephew Harvey Tucker (Una); niece Stella Noseworthy (Abe); other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Sunday, January 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, January 4th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Wesley United Church. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
