Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge, Friday, January 1, 2010, Edward Bruce Thornhill, aged 86 years. Predeceased by wife Carmel and sisters: May Young and Irene Thornhill. Leaving with cherished memories are daughters: Heather Pankovich and son-in-law Jim, Edmonton, Alberta and Pamela Snow, son-in-law David, St. John’s. Ever precious grandchildren: Malcolm and Heidi Snow will miss him dearly. Also saddened are his sister June Chafe, St. John’s and brother-in-law Charles Young, Fredericton, N.B. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Gower Street United Church on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
