The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S., on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, of Robert "Bob" Phemister of Summerside, aged 52 years. Born in Montreal, Que., he was the son of the late Ian and Hildred (MacMurdo) Phemister. Survived by his brothers, Bill, Fredericton, N.B.; Bruce (Marlene) Phemister, Ajax, Ont.; niece, Genevieve, nephew, Ian, and will be missed by his cherished pets, Sandy, Pablo and Chico. Predeceased by his grandparents, Archie and Genevieve (Burhoe) MacMurdo of Summerside. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1 p.m., until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will later take place in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery.
