It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel Payne Caines announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, July, 11th, 2012, at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Hebbert (Mabel), Kevin, Austin (Jackie), Betty (Bud) Brake and Nancy; his grandchildren: Sherman, Mary Ann, Jamie, Cory, Riley, Ashley, Richard, Davey and Kasey; his great grandchildren: Cameron and Samuel; his siblings: Mrs. Eileen Hewlin and Mrs. Elizabeth House, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Samuel was predeceased by his wife, Emma (nee House) and his parents, Gertrude & Hebbert Caines. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Anglican Church in Portland Creek, NL, today, Friday, July 13th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July, 14th, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Louise Richards officiating, with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Portland Creek, NL.
