LOIS M. A. CLARK (nee Colvin) January 23, 1924 - July 4, 2008 Lois was born in Calgary, Alta., but left as an infant with her parents and moved to West Vancouver. Lois met her friend for life, Bruce, and they were married in Christ Church Cathedral in 1949.UIn 1954 the couple, along with their young daughter Helen, moved to Kamloops where they have since resided. Lois is survived by her husband Bruce, daughters Helen (Gary) Osborne of Salmon Arm, Susan (Gerald) Illner of Salmon Arm, son James (Sharon) of Kamloops, and daughter Pamela Clark (William) Reiser of Kamloops, grandchildren Jeremy (Kristi) Osborne, Matthew Osborne, Kristina Clark, Kimberly Clark, and Jacob Reiser. Lois was an active member of the Anglican Church Women at St. Paul's Cathedral where she spent many hours volunteering.UShe was one of the founding members of the church's thrift shop.ULois was also one of the very first Meals-On-Wheels drivers in Kamloops.UShe continued with her many volunteer activities well into her 70's. In 1984 Lois, along with her husband, joined the Kamloops Riverside Lawn Bowling Club and spent many happy hours bowling.UPlaying in mixed foursomes, Lois won gold and silver medals in the B.C. Summer Games competitions and in the B.C. Seniors Games. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at Ponderosa 2nd West and Kamloops Seniors Village Floor 1B. A memorial will be held for Lois at St. Paul's Cathedral at 360 Nicola St. on Saturday, July 12 at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in Lois' memory, to the B.C. and Yukon Heart and Stroke Foundation.
