Hanley, Edward George – 62, of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at his home on January 3, 2010. Born in Edmonton, AB, September 10, 1947 he was the son of the late George and Irene Hanley. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Joseph and Andrew (Laura), all of Edmonton, AB; grandsons, Christopher and Steven, who he loved very much; sisters, Katie, Panama, Laurie, Spruce Grove, AB; brothers, Wally, White Rock, BC and Don, Eckville, AB. Ed was predeceased by his older sister Joan. Above all Ed was a wonderful, caring, loving and generous person to all whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed by all and never forgotten. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, N.S. with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating.
