LEIBEL On July 20, 2008 Marilyn Louise Leibel passed away peacefully at The Hamlets, Kamloops at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her daughter Gail (Les) of Lethbridge, AB, her son Gary of Kamloops and her step son Dan (Marilyn) of Elko, BC; four grandchildren, Christina, Mark, Gina and Del (Diane). Also left to cherish her memory are her step brother Bill (Noreen), her sister Carol and step sister Joan and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Mike, son Mark, father Noel, mother Pat and step mother Vera. Marilyn was born in Toronto in 1934. She was married and had two sons. Then moved to Calgary in 1960 and her daughter was born in 1961. She moved to Kamloops in 1965 and married Mike Leibel and together started Leibel's Insurance. She was an avid painter and enjoyed doing crafts. Her and Mike were involved in the Lions Club for many years. She also was a sister in Beta Sigma Phi. She courageously batted Lupus for many years. She was a very strong and caring woman. No formal service by her request.
