The family of the late Herb King would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to relatives, friends and neighbours for their visits, phone calls, floral arrangements, gifts of food and donations to the N.S. Lung Association. We would also like to thank the Intensive Care staff at Glace Bay General Hospital for their compassionate care, especially Dr. Kevin MacNeil, I.C.U. nurses Priscilla, Kerri, Hank and Lorna. Thank you to Rev. Michael Goodfellow for his comforting words, John T. Wilson for reading and Billy MacPherson for sharing his beautiful music. Thanks to Patten Funeral Home for their professional attention to details, as well as their guidance and support during this difficult time. A sincere thank you to Herb’s three grandsons, Kody, Zachary and Lucas, as well as Marve King, Leroy Stoyles and Michael Brushett who acted as pallbearers.
