Lillian Lena Brown (nee Yarmuch) April 7, 1926 - August 10, 2008 On Sunday, August 10, 2008 Mrs. Lillian Brown passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 82 years. Lillian will be forever missed and loved by her husband Joseph Brown for whom she had been married to for 46 years. She leaves to celebrate her life her daughters Gladys (Patrick) Murphy of Summerland and Judy (Mark) Byrne of Kamloops, her grandchildren Michael, Michele, Amy, Kimberly and Jennifer, her great grandchildren Natasha, Vanessa and Alexah, and her great great-grandchildren Jordan, Michael, Indiana and Tucker. She is survived by her sisters Kay Grykuliak, Nancy Sabina, Elsie Popowich, Olga Trembicki and Liz McNalley. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Bugera and her brothers John, Peter and Harry Yarmuch. Lillian was born in Angle Lake, Alberta on April 7, 1926. She spent many years in Alberta before moving to Kamloops in 1956. She was a waitress then manageress of the Leland Hotel Restaurant before she bought her own restaurant - Lil's Downtown Caf>>. A Celebration of Lillian's life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on 6th Avenue and Douglas Street on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Harold Wiest officiating.
