LINDA LIND (nee Usipiuk) On Monday, August 18, 2008, Linda passed away suddenly at the age of 48 years. She is survived by her mother Hedy Usipiuk, her son Murray (Tammy Stokes) Usipiuk and grandchildren Murray Jr. and Lindsay all of Kamloops, her sister Helen (Lyle) Hanson of Kamloops, her brother Gordon (Rhonda) Usipiuk of Victoria, BC, nieces and nephews, Jason, Jamie and Janelle all of Edmonton and Jeffrey of China and her step-children Trevor Lind of Kamloops and Nicole Lind of Ontario, also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and her special friend Leighla of Calgary. Linda was predeceased by her father Harry Usipiuk and her husband Victor Lind. Linda was born October 23, 1959 at Dawson Creek, BC. She was a kind-hearted woman with a soft spot for animals. She adored her cats, Yukon, Gizzy, Next, Later, J.B. and Edwardo and her Chinchilla which she doted on. Special to her were her family and friends, but the sparkle in her eye was her grandchildren, Murray Jr. and Lindsay. Linda was a deeply caring person who will be very sadly missed. Those who wish to pay their respects by viewing may do so on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 2:30 to 3:30 P.M. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel. Followed by the Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Canon Jack Phelps officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot, Hillside Cemetery.
