Passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Thursday, July 19, 2012, Ronald Hubert Norris, age 90 years, of Gander (formerly of Newtown). Beloved son of the late Edgar and Gertrude Norris. Predeceased by wife Myrtle (nee Stoodley). Lovingly remembered by daughters: Lorraine Norris (Charles Gerster) and Colleen Quintal (Ray); grandsons: Chad Leier (Reid Brodie) and Christopher Leier (Nicole Savage); great-grandchildren: Collins Leier and Terrance Savage. Sadly missed by step-daughter Melodie Scott (Arlene Ridout). Beloved brother of Reginald (Ethel), Charles (Olive), Myrtle Legge (John), Elizabeth Vincent (Allan), Jean Tulk (Reginald) and Fanny Keats. Also sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by brother George (Maggie) and brother-in-law Gordon Keats. Funeral service to take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Newtown on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 2 p.m. Inurnment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Newtown.
