Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, Anita Colbert of St. Michael’s, age 80 years old, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband James Colbert, mother and father Micheal and Lena O’Driscoll, step-mother Margaret, also son-in-law Patrick Cahill. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Carol O’Brien (David), St. Michael's, son Doug Colbert (Jill), Calgary, granddaughter Anita Boland (Sheldon), Calvert and great-grandson Jackson Boland, also her cousins, friends and neighbours and her Bingo buddies Elizabeth and Mildred. A very special friend who she loved to visit Linda Carey. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Thursday and Friday, January 7 and 8 from 2 p.m. to 9 pm. Funeral service on Saturday, January 9 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Michael’s R.C. Church, St. Michael’s. Cremation to follow.
