Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, July 21, 2012, of Mrs. Shirley Gauthier of Charlottetown age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late J. Henry Gauthier and dear mother of Daryl (Jacquie), Debbie (James) Bowtle, David (Laurie Burdett), Paul (Mabel), Donna (Bill) McCormick, Darlene (Donnie) MacRae, Pauline (Westley) Hood and Cathy (Mackie) Dixon. She is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lorna (Earl) Anthony and brother-in-law, Keith Dalziel. She was predeceased by her son, Donnie, and her sister, Peggy Dalziel. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
