Jan. 13th, 1934-July 23rd, 2012. In the presence of his loving family, Leonard Cumby, age 78, of Markland, passed peacefully away on July 23, 2012 at the Placentia Health Care Center. Retired Marine Atlantic and Former CNR Employee. Predeceased by parents Ambrose and Irene, brother Bart. Left to mourn and celebrate his life are his wife of 48 years Jean; children: Jeff (Norma), Bernard (Allison Stark), Dana (Tony Kane), Bradley (Lynette), Stephenie (David Power); grandsons: Nicholas, Jordan, Jacob, and Noah; brother: Jack and an extended circle of family and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation; Tuesday, July 24, 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 10:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. from Salvation Army Citadel Trinity Bay South Corps, Dildo. Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blaketown.
