In Loving Memory of Francis Elizabeth (Betty) Trent March 4, 1918 - October 13, 2008 Francis Elizabeth (Betty) Trent, of Kamloops passed away October 13, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Survived by Heather Alton (Jim) and daughters Lindsey and Jennifer, and son Rick (Donna) Trent and sons Dorian Tennessee and Isaac. Great grandsons Wyatt and Rylen will also miss her, as well as her sister Dorthy Forbis of Washington State. Betty was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1995. Betty was born in Kitsalino and graduated from Acadia University. Betty worked as a dietician in Truro, NS and in several hospitals in BC including R.I.H. and V.G.H. She was a member of the Dietetic Association and University Women’s Club. Mom was an active member of the Kamloops United Church for 50 yrs. She was a member of the United Church Choir and Happy Corristers. She worked as a volunteer at the Interior Cancer Clinic; she enjoyed her spare time with her bridge club. Betty Trent was a wonderful mom, we will all miss her. Thanks to the workers at Berwick on the Park and Pine Grove Care Centre as well as Dr. Chip Bantock. Moms last months were spent at Overlander Extended Care where she was treated with tremendous love and compassion by the staff. There will be a family service for mom in the spring, when we can all be together. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kamloops United Church.
