KIM LOUISE GALLOWAY February 21, 1958 - October 18, 2008 After a courageous battle with cancer, Kim passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side at the Kamloops Hospice on October 18, 2008. Predeceased by her mother Marguerite Alberton. She is survived by her father Louis Alberton, her loving husband Doug, children Robyn (Scott) and Drew (Kirsten), her sister Bonnea (Norm), her sisters-in-law Betty (Ken), Susan (Bill) and many nephews and nieces. Also dearly missed by her best friend Cathy. The family would like to thank Dr. Barnard, the staff and volunteers of the Kamloops Hospice, the wonderful chemo nurses of Kelowna General Hospital and finally, special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Matthews and Janice MacDonald of the Kamloops Cancer Clinic, two shining lights throughout Kim’s battle with the disease. Funeral to be held October 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Helen’s Anglican Church, Surrey. Burial to follow at Valleyview Memorial Gardens, Surrey.
