HILDEBRAND Jacob Jack Hildebrand March 15, 1931 - October 31, 2008 Jack was born at Skiff, Alberta, and lived in Alberta until moving to Grindrod, BC in 1961. During the last three months of his life, he moved to Pyott Road, Armstrong, where he was cared for by his family during his final battle with cancer. Jack was always a farmer, a hard working, kind and gentle soul who dearly loved his family, his friends and his Black Diamond Soil Services clientele. Predeceased by his father, mother and one daughter, Jack is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, four sons; one daughter; four grandsons; three granddaughters; four brothers and two sisters. A Funeral Service Celebrating Jack’s Life will be held at Trinity United Church, Vernon on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery. Blair Odney officiating. The family’s heartfelt thanks to the excellent team of Enderby-Armstrong Community Care Services and the Salmon Arm Medical Clinic who cared for Jack and his family.
