JOHN L. KNOUS 1933 - 2008 We regret to announce the passing on November 2, 2008 of John Knous at the age of 75. He has left to mourn, his loving wife Wilma of 53 years, as well as his children Diane (Dan) Desilets, Joan (Dollan) Rohrke and Larry Knous. He is also survived by a sister Louise (Gerry) Verreault and a brother Bill (Gloria) Knous. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Cindy, Lesley, Mathew, Jesse, Krista, Melanie and great grandchildren Jasmine and Becca. John was born in Mossbank, Sask. and made Kamloops his home in 1948 and has resided in the area until his sudden passing. He could be found enjoying camping and traveling throughout the year with his good friends and family. He served for 20 years as an RCMP Auxiliary and was a recreational golfer. He worked for the Ashcroft School Board for 13 years until his retirement where he made close and lasting friendships. He also served 3 years as an Ashcroft School District Trustee. He was our Husband, Father, Grandfather and Good Friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Services to be held at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, November 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Vern Frudd officiating
