RIGGS April 1, 1947 ~ November 8, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Riggs at the age of 61 years, on Saturday, November 8th, 2008. Len was born on April 1,1947 in Cutknife, Sask. He attended school in Baldwinton and Turtleford, Sask. before moving with his family to Chilliwack in 1966 and then to Kamloops in 1971. Len leaves behind his mother, Jean of Kamloops, brother, Wayne (Sheila) Riggs, nephews Trevor, Jason and Stephen, all of Delta, B.C. He was predeceased by his father Gordon in 1977. Len will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Len worked as a detailer at several automobile dealerships in Kamloops since 1972. He enjoyed boating and camping in his RV throughout B.C. and Alberta, and spent many happy hours looking after his trailers and campers. Prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 635 Tranquille Rd., Kamloops, B.C. The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Archbishop Adam Exner O.M.I. officiating.
