Larry Everett Trimble December 15, 1929 - November 20, 2008 Larry is survived by his “SIS” Mary Hoard, his nephews: Greg Fulmer, Kelly (Judy) Fulmer, nieces: Dawn Fulmer, Kathy (Kane) Desmond, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He leaves a large community of friends to cherish his memory, many of whom he met at the “Y”. In particular his best friend Roxanne Flack who fondly remembers their first meeting as strangers on the street that ultimately led to a long friendship that meant the world to them both. He was predeceased by his brothers: Colin and Uncle Lou, his niece Susan, and his great nephews: Sean, Toby and Marty. Larry will be remembered as the absolute best brother, uncle and friend that anyone could have. We were blessed to have him in our lives and will continue to be blessed with the wonderful memories he has given us. If this life is about giving, then Larry lived it very well; his entire life was based on making others happy. Even his love of shopping was about giving it all away. A visit to Larry’s home always meant leaving with bags of goodies, he would be insulted if you left empty-handed. His sense of humor was surpassed only by his generosity; Larry’s kindness and uniqueness were so special that he was loved by all that knew him. While in the hospital, Larry continually praised the nurses of R.I.H. 3 West, up to and including the day he passed, he said that he didn’t know how he would have managed without them. Our family wish to express our appreciation and gratitude to all of the nurses at 3 West for making Larry’s last few months of his life more bearable. At Larry’s request there will be no service. A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, December 7th at #410 - 712 Sahali Terrace from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (building Emerald Terrace) Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services.
