The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, December 8, 2008, of Mr. Ronald D. “Ron” Mason of Charlottetown, age 74 years. Beloved husband of Roberta Mason (nee Birt). Dear father of Rhonda Mason (Mike Rush), Rebecca (Eddie) Sherwood, Amber (Maurice) Gagnon, Scott (Charlotte) Mason, Ronnie (Sherrie) Mason, Maryanne (John) Arsenault and Sharon Arsenault. He will also be lovingly remembered by stepchildren Marjorie (Ron) Arsenault, John (Debbie) Birt, Donnie (Martina) Birt, Wendy (Tom) Dickerson, Jamie Birt and Ralph Birt; grandchildren Travis, Chad, Haley, Kyle, Wesley, Andrew, Matthew G., Matthew A. and Katelyn and other grandchildren. He was predeceased by parents Arthur Mason and Mary Alice (Alloway). Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service by personal request.
