JULIETTE BOMBARDIER Aug. 1, 1924 - Dec. 26, 2008 Julie passed away suddenly at the age of 84 after a 14 year struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and moved to Meadow Lake at age 6. She married Arthur after her return from WWII, started their family and moved to Penticton in 1958 where they raised their seven children. After Arthur’s death in 1995, Julie moved to Cranbrook to be closer to her family and finally to Kamloops in 2005. She is survived by her sons Harvey (Karen) in Cranbrook, Richard (Jan) in Kamloops, Don (Bernadette) in Kamloops, and daughters Carol (Ron) in Kamloops, Arlene (Ed) in Kamloops, Yvonne (David) in Creston and Brenda (Theo) in Westlock, AB. She also left behind 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The Reverend Father Peter Nguyen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Road on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Should friends desire, donations will be gratefully accepted for the Alzheimer’s Society, Box 277, Kamloops, BC V2C 1J9.
