In Loving Memory June Lorraine Denton July 6, 1921 - January 9, 2009 June Denton of Kamloops, B.C. passed away peacefully on January 9, 2009 at Ridgeview Lodge. June is survived by nieces and nephews in Alberta and Nova Scotia, as well as many close friends here in Kamloops. June was predeceased by her husband Brad and her son Chris. We would like to thank the nurses and staff at Ponderosa Lodge, Pine Grove Care Centre, Kamloops Seniors Village and Ridgeview Lodge who patiently looked after and cared for June, as well as the many people in the community who have assisted her. June was known to walk to the beat of her own drum, her reputation certainly preceded her. A Memorial Service for June will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Kamloops United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home at 72 Whiteshield Cres. S., Kamloops, B.C. V2E 2S9 in memory of June would be appreciated.
