MARGARET "PEGGY" SCHOLTON. AUGUST 18, 1924 - FEBRUARY 11, 2009 .It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother & Grandmother Peggy Scholton. Peggy is survived by her Daughter Randy Carrell (Kelly Anderson); Sons Jay Scholton (Tammi), Andy Raeber (Kathy); Grandchildren Staci Rishaug (Ryan), Marci Carrell (Fabian Booth), Rob & Tracy Carrell, Janice (Ryan), Kris (Nikki), Daryl; Great Grandsons Noah & Khai Rishaug; Nieces Deanna, Marlene, Jeannie; Nephews Murray, Garth & Jay. Peggy is best known for her many years of dedication to the Prince George Community, her overseas Foster Care, B&B Music, opened in 1949, The B&B Music T.V. Show & her love and devotion to her Family and friends. Peggy has resided in Kamloops, B.C., near her Daughter Randy off and on since 1985 and is also well known in the Community at places such as The Kamloops Renaissance, The Shores, Playing Bingo at Malone's or just spending time at Randy's Home with her Family and Friends. For almost 85 Years Peggy lived life to the fullest and will leave behind her witty sense of humour that will leave laughter in our souls like a ray of the sun shining down on us all. Peggy was Our Bright Shining Star that will be sadly missed but FOREVER CHERISHED IN OUR HEARTS. BE AT PEACE MOM, WE LOVE YOU AND WILL CARRY YOU WITHIN US ALWAYS. Our family would like to send a special thanks to Dr.Fike, Dr. Hollman, and the many nurses at Royal Inland Hospital for helping us through this difficult time and we appreciate the compassion shown when needed. A Celebration to Honour Peggy's Life will be held in the Chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 177 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, B.C., on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. To be announced there will be a reception following the ceremony.
