BAIRD, Cyril – (1934-2010). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Cyril A. Baird passed away on Wednesday, January 6th at the Health Sciences Centre following a lengthy illness. Predeceased by parents Mary (nee Moore) and Gerald Baird and sister Patricia. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Melba (nee Boone); daughters: Mary (Don) Buchanan, Pamela (Paul) Youden, Renee (Bill) Gulliver and five grandchildren: Kaiman, Kailan, Shawna, Josh and Jessica; brothers: John and Jerry and sisters: Gladys, Suzanne, RoseMary and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Interment on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Cyril’s memory may be made to The Lung Association.
